The Community Action Council of Howard County team visited FOX 45 TV’s morning show this week to talk about their upcoming annual Holland Awards Dinner on October 17th at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, MD.
The Holland Awards Dinner annually recognizes an individual or organization that demonstrates extraordinary commitment and dedication to serving the most vulnerable in Howard County. CAC serves more than 35,000 low-income individuals and families annually through an impactful approach which meets the needs of both parents and children by layering critical services that stabilize families in crisis with self-sufficiency programming that enable low-income families to increase their assets and become self-reliant.
