Nicole Hawkins is a consultant, strategic advisor, and connector of people and purpose. Her work is grounded in deep listening, thoughtful partnership, and an ability to understand what leaders need and why. Nicole brings a calm, clarifying presence to complex environments, helping organizations cut through the noise and make decisions rooted in intention, alignment, and purpose.

 

With more than 25 years of experience, leaders rely on Nicole as a trusted voice who asks incisive questions, identifies what matters most, and transforms fragmented information into clear strategic direction. She partners with organizations and individuals navigating growth, transition, or opportunity, and is known for designing bold, practical solutions that bridge gaps, strengthen partnerships, and advance priorities with purpose. Her ability to translate high-level vision into actionable pathways makes her a valued ally for leaders seeking to create lasting impact.

 

She has collaborated with a wide range of organizations across the corporate, nonprofit, media, and sports sectors, including AARP, Panera Bread, Colon Cancer Alliance, NBC Sports Washington, the George Washington University School of Business, and the National Women’s Soccer League’s Washington Spirit.

 

At age 27, Nicole made history as the first Black woman to serve as Public Relations Director for an NBA franchise, the Washington Wizards. She held additional roles within Monumental Sports and Entertainment, including Director of Event and Venue Public Relations for Capital One Arena and Assistant Director of Public Relations for the WNBA’s Washington Mystics. She began her career in the Communications Department at the WNBA league office in New York City.

 

Nicole is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and Jefferson Community College, and holds a professional certificate in Sports Philanthropy from George Washington University.
