Maroon PR recently worked with its client, MECU Credit Union, to help celebrate the grand opening of its tenth branch in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
MECU marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting, remarks from local officials, a check presentation ceremony to several local nonprofits, and a free community event with music and games.
The Randallstown branch opening expands MECU’s presence in Baltimore County allowing the credit union to serve more members and provide its community with greater access to financial services.
Maroon PR’s team worked with MECU to help with planning and outreach to local elected officials for the event, as well as proactive media relations securing day-of coverage on WBAL TV, WJZ TV and WMAR TV among others.
