Maroon PR brings attention to MECU Credit Union Rebrand
With a major corporate rebranding ready to announce, MECU Credit Union looked to Maroon PR to help spread the word to media about the company’s refreshed logo, tagline, website and financial literacy programming.
The 83-year-old credit union has more than 100,000 members in the Baltimore area, and as part of a major marketing campaign surrounding the rebrand trusted Maroon PR to handle all media outreach surrounding the rebrand.
Maroon PR worked to secure stories in the Baltimore area’s two top business publications, setting up interviews for MECU executives with the Baltimore Business Journal and The Daily Record.
Additionally, the Maroon PR team quickly secured coverage at CityBizList, Baltimore Patch, I-95 Business and vital trade publications including CUInsight.
