Jen brings 20 years of public relations, media relations, social media and digital marketing experience to Maroon PR. Over the years, Jen has worked with a diverse array of companies in Baltimore, ranging from local non-profits to large Fortune 500 brands.
In 2003, Jen began her career working as the PR Manager at Ripken Baseball under John Maroon. She moved on to become an original Account Executive at Maroon PR when the agency opened its doors in April 2006. She then moved on to work in the communications office at the National Aquarium. Before returning to Maroon PR in 2013, Jen served as the Social Media Manager in Stanley Black & Decker’s digital marketing department.
Her career in the communications field has paralleled the growth of digital marketing and communications. In all of her past PR roles, she was an influential force in folding digital efforts into PR and communication strategies for companies by maximizing the use of owned media and digital PR. Today, she oversees the daily operations of Maroon PR and provides long-term planning and strategy for the agency.
She lives in Sykesville with her husband Ryan and daughter Charlotte.
