As Franciscans around the world commemorate the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi’s meeting with the Sultan of Egypt, the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America looked to Maroon PR to help spread the word about the historic meeting that continues to impact interreligious dialogue today.

The Monastery, located in Washington, D.C., continues the mission of St. Francis, supporting the Holy Land, its people and its holy sites while also serving as a pilgrimage site for those who cannot make the trip abroad.

Maroon PR worked with local and national outlets to secure opportunities for the Franciscans to discuss this historical events, its impact and how the Monastery continues the work of St. Francis today.

Our team secured stories with EWTN Global Catholic Network, Catholic News Service, Sacred Heart Radio and the Catholic Standard.
