Driving awareness and growth for #MANTS2019
Working together for the 6th year, Maroon PR again managed the earned media and social media efforts of the Mid-Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (MANTS), held every January in Baltimore. MANTS, one of the largest private trade shows serving the Horticulture Industry, and the premier green industry marketplace for businesses, brings together close to 1,000 exhibitors and over 11,000 attendees each year to network, learn and shop!
In the months leading up to the show, Maroon PR communicated with industry media to educate the group on story opportunities and press accommodations at the Baltimore Convention Center. Our team was also creating content for three social media channels in an effort to educate and engage exhibitors and to continue to cultivate a community of excited attendees looking forward to January.
During the three-day trade show, our team organized a media breakfast event attend by more than 50 green industry media members, generated social media content and engaged with attendees and exhibitors on social media. Our team worked closely with the show administrators to plan the logistics, secure media attendance and echo the trade show’s voice on social media before and during the event.
In addition to media cultivated for the show, Maroon PR worked to increase interaction and awareness with attendees through the show’s Twitter, Instagram, and, newly created, Facebook page. Ahead of the show, the team promoted registration, provided information on exhibitors and the show, distributed information on Baltimore and engaged with trending hashtags. Through a variety of features on the platforms, the team highlighted exhibitors, products, attendees, and even hosted a Q&A session with Allan Armitage, a prominent horticulturist. Our team’s social media presence during the show generated more than 59,000 impressions across the three platforms.
Maroon PR is looking forward to helping the MANTS team announce and celebrate their 50th anniversary trade show which will take place January 8-10, 2020 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
