Big League Chew (BLC) and Maroon PR (MPR) have partnered since 2015 and we’re proud to represent a national brand that resonates and brings joy to kids and adults alike. In May, Big League Chew was on the road and featured at the Sweets and Snacks Expo in Chicago, Illinois and at the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Hall of Fame Classic weekend in Cooperstown, New York. MPR also secured a feature with BLC founder Rob Nelson in the Sports Business Journal and on WGN-TV Chicago among additional coverage.
The Sweets & Snacks Expo is the largest confectionery and snack event in North America, bringing together thousands of confectionery and snack industry professionals from hundreds of different confectionery and snack companies. While in Chicago, Rob Nelson joined WGN-TV to discuss the origins of the brand ahead of the convention.

Big League Chew is the official bubblegum of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Over Memorial Day weekend, Rob Nelson and representatives from Ford Gum and MPR were on hand at the Hall of Fame Classic to facilitate an in-game bubble-blowing contest and surprise and delight attendees with pouches of their favorite flavors of Big League Chew. Hall of Fame members helped to measure and judge the contestant’s bubbles and awarded 8-year-old Kinsley from New Hartford, NY with a case of Big League Chew and a year-long membership to the Baseball Hall.
