Cool Digs: Maroon PR’s new Columbia office has shared spaces, personal touches

Maroon PR’s new Columbia office was customized to fit the specific needs of the public relations, social media and content creation agency.
An open floor plan has individual workstations with adjustable sit-stand desks, 10 executive offices with dry-erase walls, an open concept conference room, a kitchen and other smaller collaboration spaces. Th office houses a custom-built table made by Maroon PR’s 19 employees at a recent corporate retreat.

As part of the office building at 7142 Columbia Gateway Drive, Maroon PR also has several amenity spaces and features it shares with other tenants. The property, managed by Corporate Office Properties Trust, was designed using the contemporary CIRQL design — aimed at providing workspace for growing companies that allow them to retain their own offices while also sharing central spaces and perks.
Such shared spaces and amenities include a conference room, fully stocked kitchen, lounge and creative networking areas, wellness centers, an outdoor patio, bike sharing program and meeting spaces.
