Drive Growth Through Relationships

Maroon PR is a creative communications agency that drives growth through relationships. Longtime public relations professional John Maroon started the firm in 2006 with a specific goal in mind: to drive growth for clients through meaningful relationships. Even though the public relations landscape has evolved over the years, relationships remain at the center of our company.

For nearly two decades we have always understood and stuck to who we are: a values-driven agency. Our expertise is highlighted in our core communications strategies – media relations, social media, content development, relationship building and targeted media buying – and through these capabilities, we have built a proven reputation for delivering the results our clients need to grow their businesses.

When John opened Maroon PR, his sights were set on being a sports agency as that was his area of PR expertise. Shortly after, we started to discover new clients across a myriad of industries and grew exponentially in the years to come. As we continue to evolve, we have seen the majority of our work focus on three somewhat broad sectors: Nonprofit & Healthcare, Hospitality and Sports. While we continue to do effective work outside of these areas, we invite you to explore our core capabilities under the areas of Maroon Cares, Maroon Gathers and Maroon Plays

We continue to evolve at a rapid pace with a constantly changing media landscape. Maroon PR’s adaptability to this evolution, to remain at the cutting edge of our industry, allows us to redefine public relations to deliver the results our clients have come to expect.
